Ynvisible and Waypoint to co-develop ePaper transit solutions in the US
Ynvisible announced a partnership with Waypoint Transit Solutions to co-develop innovative transit information solutions, based on Ynvisible's ePaper technology.
The collaboration focuses on enhancing the commuter experience by delivering real-time updates on arrival and departure times, and other essential transit information. Waypoint has already placed an order for a limited quantity of customized Ynvisible’s e-paper displays, for testing and validation, and is looking to potentially order quantities of more than 20,000 units when the product is fully ready to be placed in the market.
Ynvisible delivered a high-temperature resistant display prototypes to a leading medical equipment producer
Ynvisible announced that it successful delivered high-temperature resistant display prototypes for product status indication in medical equipment, to a key player in the medical field.
The displays will be used as innovative countdown timers, customized to endure the rigorous sterilization and cleaning processes required in hospital environments. The company says that this simple and highly resistant technology incorporates a permanent status indicator that serves as an additional safety feature, by indicating when the equipment has completed its last valid utilization.
Ynvisible to supply displays for 100,000 compressor maintanance timer stickers
Ynvisible announced an interesting project in which it will supply its ePaper displays to replace traditional analogue time stickers. The project, worth over 1.5 million Canadian dollars, will include the supply of 105,000 displays in the next three years.
Ynvisible's customer is a globally recognized leading provider of air compressors and compressed air systems, that was looking for a more efficient solution to monitor maintenance procedures for its compressors’ air filters.
Hive-Zox to adopt Ynvisible's displays in its upcoming healthcare monitoring smart label
Ynvisible announced a strategic collaboration with Switzerland-based Hive-Zox to integrate Ynvisible's ePaper displays in a new smart label device that is designed for pharmaceutical and healthcare shipment monitoring. Hive-Zox anticipates scaling the solution to over 1 million units annually.
The project centers around a new cost-effective, automated monitoring smart label solution, called the ConnectedLabel, that Hive-Zox is now launching into the market. Ynvisible's thin, flexible and cost-effective e-paper displays were selected as the "ideal visual interface for the smart label solution, for their compact
design and low power consumption".
Ynvisible ships 25,000 large-format ePaper digital displays to Italy's Fortech
Electrochromics display developer Ynvisible announced that it has mass produced and shipped 25,000 large-format digital signage displays for Fortech S.r.l., Italy's leading provider of bespoke solutions for the fuel retail sector.
Fortech uses these displays to show average fuel prices at gas stations, as part of its PriceLink solution. Fortech chose Ynvisible's innovative display solution as it is battery-operated for wireless convenience, lightweight for ease of installation, and durable enough to withstand outdoor conditions.
Ynvisible gained exclusive rights to RISE's printed electrochromic display IP
In 2020, electrochromics display developer Ynvisible announced that it has entered into a non-exclusive licensing agreement with Sweden's RISE research institutes, to access RISE's printed electrochromic display IP.
RISE now announced that it has given Ynvisible an exclusive license to the display IP. Ynvisible aims to adopt RISE's technology into its high-volume production capability in Sweden. RISE's technology will enable Ynvisible to offer displays that directly compete traditional segmented displays such as LCDs.

Ynvisible teams up with Exevio to develop ePaper-based EV charging signage
Exevio developed a new signage solution for EV charging stations, that is used to direct drivers to available charging locations. The idea is to deploy the signs at critical intersections, parking entrances and other places to help drivers find an available charging station.
The new signage is based on Ynvisible's ePaper display technology.
Ynvisible launches an upgraded version of its ePaper display
Portugal-based Ynvisible has released a new version of its ePaper displays. These new displays offer several exciting improvements over the company's previous generation panels.
- A 10X increase in cycle lifetime - which means the display can survive over a million on-off changes.
- A lower operating voltage, 1.5V (down from 3V)
