E Ink Holdings' CEO says that the company's color e-paper production lines are now running in full capacity. The company is increasing its color ePaper display capacity and will increase it by 10-fold before the end of 2020.
EIH says that in 2020 its color e-Paper products will account for 10% of its revenues.
In May 2019 EIH started to produce 26" color ACeP displays. The display supports a refresh ratethat is lower than 3 seconds (similar to EIH's first 13" ACeP display).
E Ink first-generation Triton color e-Paper displays are now entering the market as well with some mobile phones and other products. The company also produces 3-color displays (Spectra displays) aimed for electronic shelf labels and other retail applications - but it is likely it does not consider these displays to be "color" ones.
