Alcatel's One Touch Hero is a large (6") smartphone (or phablet) with a Full-HD LCD, Android 4.2, a 1.5Ghz CPU and 13 mp camera. The phone has some interesting accessories - a cover with a LED screen and a pico projector stand. And a cover with a large E Ink display. We don't have any details on this E Ink, it looks about 5" or 6" in size and will enable reading books and newspapers.

The One Touch Hero will launch in October 2013.

The Samsung Zeal is a clamshell CDMA phone that has a QWERTY keyboard in which the keys are actually small E Ink displays (like in the Samsung Alias 2). Other features include a 2mp camera, microSD slot and support for mail (including Microsoft Exchange), messaging, skype mobile, social networks and more.

The Zeal is now shipping for free (with a Verizon contract) or for $199 without a service plan.

The GzOne (available on Japan's KDDI network only) is a waterproof and shock resistant clamshell phone - ideal for sports. It has a small external E Ink display to show a clock, message notifications, etc.
