The Emue Technologies credit card has an embedded display, a 12-button numeric keypad and a microprocessor. The embedded battery should last for at three years. The idea is that when users want to authenticate a phone or online transaction, the enter the transaction info on the keypad (and also their PIN code), and the card generates a one-time authentication code.

The company also has an Authentication application for J2ME phones and the iPhone.

VISA are currently testing Emue's embedded authentication technology.

The My Book Studio 2 and the My Book Elite are external disks from Western Digital. Both come in different sizes (up to 2TB). The Elite connects via USB, and the Studio 2 includes a Firewire port, too. 

The display shows your own disk 'label' and how many GB are left. It also shows a visual bar.

The Verbatim InSight is a portable Hard-disk with an Always-On display that shows the drive's available free space and personalized name. It connects via USB, and comes in 320Gb or 500Gb capacity. The rotation speed is 5,400 RPM.

The InSight costs 116$ for the 500Gb, and 89$ for the 320Gb.
