Onyx's Boox C67ML is a touch E Ink (6" 1024x758, Carta) e-reader based on Android 4.22. It uses a dual-core 1.2Ghz CPU and has 8Gb of built-in memory with a TF-card card slot.

The Boox C67ML is now shipping for $168.

New e-paper device:Kindle Paperwhite (2015)

The Kindle Paperwhite 2015 is a new version of Amazon's popular paperwhite kindle e-reader. The new 2015 edition upgrades the display with a new 6" 300DPI E Ink Carta panel. The e-reader has front-light, Wi-Fi (3G optional) and 4GB of storage (free cloud storage for Amazon content).

The new Paperwhite will launch on June 30 2015, and will cost $119 (basic Wi-Fi edition, ad supported).

New e-paper device:Kobo Glo HD

The Kobo Glo HD is a high-end 6" e-reader, that uses a high resolution (1448x1072, 300 PPI) Carta E Ink display (this seems to be the same display used in the Kindle Voyage). It has built-in front-light, 4GB of memory, 1Ghz CPU and Wi-Fi.

The Kobo Glo HD will ship in early May 2015 for $130.

New e-paper device:Amazon Kindle Voyage

The Kindle Voyage is Amazon's best Kindle yet. It features a 6" 300 PPI front-lit E Ink display. This is Amazon's thinnest Kindle yet at 7.6", and the front-lit display is not 'sunken' like other touch Kindles. It comes in two models: Wi-Fi and 3G (plus Wi-Fi).

The Kindle Voyage costs $200 for the basic Wi-Fi version with ads. You can pre-order it now and it will ship in November 2014.

The US Navy's NeRD Is a secure e-reader that was designed especially for deployed sailors. It runs a custom firmware and cannot be connected to any external device or storage. It comes preloaded with a catalog of reading materials (including classics to contemporary best-sellers).
