The Huawei MatePad Paper is a large e-reader device that sports a 10.3" 1872 x 1404 (227 PPI) E Ink touch-enabled display, HarmonyOS 2 and 64GB of storage.
The MatePad Paper will ship soon globally, at around $550 (including a stylus and cover).
Kobo's new flagship e-reader, the Sage, features a 8" 1440x1920 E Ink Carta 1200 display, adaptive ComfortLight Pro frontlight. The Sage, which sports 32GB of storage and a 1.8 Ghz quadcore chipset, can be used to take notes with a stylus (sold separately).
The Sage will ship by the end of October 2021, for $260.

Amazon also offers the Kindle Paperwhite Signature which has 32 GB of storage, adaptive front-light and wireless charging.
The all-new Kindle Paperwhite will ship on October 27, 2021, starting at $139.99 for the ad-supported Paperwhite.
Amazon also offers a parental-control enabled Kids version (Kindle Paperwhite Kids) with an extended warranty and a one-year subscription to Amazon kids.
The PocketBook Color 740 is an e-reader that sports a 7.8-inch 1404x1872 color E Ink Kaleido display, with 4096 colors, front light and capacitive touch.
The e-reader is based on Android OS and features a 1 Ghz dual-core chipset, 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot.
The Bigme S3 is an e-reader that sports a color 7.8-inch 1404x1872 E Ink display, front LED-light, 1.8 Ghz chipset and 32 GB of storage. The e-reader is based on an Android 8.1 OS.
The Bigme S3, is now shipping in China for 3,499 Yuan (around $550).
Xiaomi's Mi Reader Pro is an e-reader that features a 7.8-inch 1878x1404 (300 PPI) E Ink display with front lighting. The Mi Reader pro has a quad-core chipset, 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
The Mi Reader Pro is now available via crowdfunding, for 1,099 Yuan (around $170).
Amazon's Kindle Kids Edition is a standard Kindle device tailored for kids. It features a 6" 167 PPI E Ink display with front lighting. The device comes with one year of unlimited FreeTime (which includes a subscription for thousands of popular titles), a 2-year guarantee and a colorful case.
The Amazon Kindle Kids Edition will ship on October 30 for $109.99.
The Kobo Libra H20 is a high-end waterproof e-reader that features a 7" 1680x1264 (300 PPI) E Ink Carta Display, 8 GB of storage and adjustable color temperature front lighting.
The Kobo Libra H20 will launch by the end of 2019 for $169.99.
Amazon's 2019 edition (3rd-Gen) of its flagship e-reader, the Kindle Oasis adds an adjustable front-light light temperature (or warmth as Amazon calls it). The Oasis offers a 7" 300 PPI E Ink display, 8/32 GB of storage, 12 LEDs front light and comes in either Graphite or Champagne Gold colors.
The Kindle Oasis 2019 (3rd-Gen) will ship on July 24 starting at $249.99 (8GB, with special offers).
