E Ink Holdings had to halt display production in its China factory due to a COVID breaktout

E Ink Holdings announced that the company had to halt ePaper production in its plant in Yangshou, China due to a COVID breakout in the city. The infections are now receding, and it seems as if the outbreak is under control.

Even with this disruption, EIH believes that its 2021 net profit will increase from 2020. Its revenues in August, however, will be effected by the shutdown.

EIH further reports that demand for it products increased in the second half of 2021, and the company is increasing its capacity and building three new production lines.
