Ricoh unveils bright color e-paper technology

Ricoh is showing a new color e-paper prototype. The company claims that it's 2.5 times brighter than any other e-paper technology, and have a wider color range (four times wider!).

Ricoh used a simple lamination method, layering three strips of electrochromic material between two substrates. Ricoh wouldn't say when and if they plan to commercialize this technology.
